During the night, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have resulted in blackouts in large parts of Ukraine's capital, Kyiv.

Simultaneously, a young boy was fatally injured in a different aerial attack in the southeastern region in the southeastern part, according to local officials.

Moscow has increased assaults on power infrastructure over the past few days, while the country's government has requested "real steps" from allies to increase pressure on Russia.

"What is required is not window dressing but decisive action - from the US, the EU and the major economies - in delivering defensive weapons and applying restrictions," he wrote in a public message.

Officials stated that numerous aerial vehicles and several dozen rockets attacked energy facilities, labeling such strikes as "premeditated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as winter approaches.

Government representatives said Moscow was "launching a major assault" and repair crews were striving to repair systems.

A series of attacks struck energy infrastructure and residential structures in Kyiv.

Several of the people injured in the strikes on the capital have been transported for medical care, according to city authorities.
